Shipping & Delivery Policy

 

1. Order Processing Timeline

All confirmed orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays). During high-demand periods such as sale events, festive seasons, or promotional launches, processing time may extend by an additional 24–48 hours.
We prioritize timely dispatch, but orders are only processed once payment confirmation is received (for prepaid orders), or once Cash on Delivery (COD) details are validated.


2. Shipping Partners & Tracking

We partner with trusted national courier services such as Delhivery, Bluedart, and India Post to ensure safe and reliable delivery across India. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email and/or SMS, which you can use to monitor the shipment status in real time.


3. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Metro Cities 2–4 business days
Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities 4–6 business days
Rural / Remote Areas 5–8 business days
North-East, J&K, Islands 6–10 business days

Please note: These are estimated timelines. Delays may occur due to weather, regional disruptions, or logistics strikes — factors beyond our control.


4. Shipping Charges

  • Prepaid Orders (Above ₹999): Free Shipping

  • Prepaid Orders (Below ₹999): ₹49 shipping charge

  • Cash on Delivery Orders: Additional ₹50 COD handling fee

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly indicated at checkout prior to final payment.


5. Delivery Attempts & Redelivery

Our delivery partners typically attempt delivery up to 3 times. In case the address is incomplete, the contact number is unreachable, or the customer is unavailable, the package may be returned to our warehouse.

In such instances:

  • A re-shipping fee may be applicable.

  • Scents Emporio reserves the right to cancel undelivered orders after multiple failed attempts.


6. Inspection Upon Delivery

We advise all customers to inspect the package upon delivery. If you notice that the parcel is tampered with, physically damaged, or leaking, do not accept the delivery and inform us immediately at support@scentsemporio.com with photos and your Order ID.
Accepting a visibly damaged package waives your right to claim any issues post-delivery.


7. Undelivered or Lost Shipments

In the rare case that a shipment is marked as “Delivered” by the courier but has not been received by you, we require a written claim within 48 hours of the delivery status update. Our team will initiate an investigation and respond within 3–5 business days.


8. International Shipping

At this time, we do not offer international shipping. Scents Emporio’s products are available for delivery within India only. We are working towards expanding our reach and will update this policy once international services are available.


9. Force Majeure Clause

Scents Emporio shall not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, national emergencies, lockdowns, transportation delays, or government restrictions.
